sideroxylon and leucoxylon are very heat tolerant and have pretty red flowers on mature trees but they are probably not hardy below 18-20f at best so might be very iffy choices if you get winter lows like these on a regular basis but if you only get those temps every 5-10 years or so you MIGHT consider experimenting with them. other "hardy" eucs to experiment with might include gunnii, nicholii, and bridgesiana.
