It was pretty tender. I was looking at some of the microtheca/coolabah types today and I can't see any that did as well as Silverton. One young sprout that is a year old on the Jericho coolabah is resprouting but the rest of the tree is lifeless. The Arizona generic blue microtheca is in reasonably good shape and is resprouting from smaller branches but not from the tips like Silverton. Also drove by a nicholii today on the north side, it had some scorching but had already vigorously started regrowing. It is in a raised planter bed otherwise it would not be able to handle the soil here. Its hardiness closely parallels Silverton, both only having been injured by an early December freeze back in 1996
