thanks for the report---looks like this winter has been a challenge for a lot of plants all over the place---lets hope that some of the eucs will come back in such a way that their owners wom't have to remove large trimls amd bramcjes. also interesting that "silverton provenance"/subcinerea seems to be hardier for you (i had the feeling that obtusa was the most frost resistant of the red gums)but experience trumps feeling for sure. good luck to you and the eucs down your way.
