All I can say is that the buds look pedicellate, which would favour chapmaniana.
The fruits don't look like either species, but the photos I have in Brooker & Kleinig are of old, brown capsules, not young green ones like these, so perhaps that affects their shape.
Besides, with Symphomyrtus I often get the "rim" and "disc" confused; the reference books seem to use the terms loosely.
As for which photos are of which tree, I am totally lost there.
