Richard, thanks so much for the info on your eucs. When I google eucs , I still see info you put on the other boards long ago and still learn from them. there is so little info on eucs in Texas.
The microthecas are good nectar sources for bees and (I suspect hummers and orioles) and bring in the insects that,in turn, bring in the entire food chain all the way up to red-tail hawks.
I was so glad when you posted on here a couple of years ago about C. woodwardii and erytrocorys. Who would dream these west- aussies could hack it in Texas.
I was always wanting to trial woodwardii and erythrocorys in Houston, but never got around to it. If I had the time I would like to try out some of the others you have tried - meliodora (could be an great nectar source) and Victrix.
You wrote long emails about all the things possible in Houston (the melaluecas and more), but I just never was able to try these wonderful ideas. I saved the emails for future reference.
