beautiful trees in a beautiful area---only hope my deanei(growing near the south coast of oregon, u.s.a.) will eventually grow to something somewhat as nice. so far its grown steadily but definitely not as fast as the very closely related saligna which is now about 15m tall or so compared to only about 7m or so for deanei in about the same period of time (7 years). deanei seems more frost tolerant and did not suffer any damage last winter while cold temps around -6c defoliated the saligna. thanks for posting the great pics.
