Well I've decided to take it down in any event.
It is growing like the Jolly Green Giant.
The financial consequences of having it (or it's branches) crash into my house or my next door neighbor's house are terrifying.
Also the tree is blocking out too much light from the rest of the yard... and it's tearing up the patio concrete.
Since eucalyptus trees don't respond well to trimming, I think I'll just have it cut off at the base and see if I like it as a bush.
I hate to cut any tree... and I wish it would just have stayed about 35 feet tall and then stopped growing... lol!
