Well, it is planted - well away from the house. Not another tree near it. In its own well mulched and roomy bed in amended soil. It ought to have no problem being all it can be as there is nothing to impede it in any way! Right now it is probably not even 2 feet tall and I can barely see it from my house because it is so small! Thanks for all the advice. We shall see how my Eucalyptus (fondly named "Eunice") shall fare!
