I have devised a method for tying these seedlings while using a bamboo stake with the tie wire like you see closing bread packaging. I wrap the wire around the stake and twist it tying it to the stake, twisting it enough to leave a little stand-off, then I make a small loop around the plant stem and tie the ends together which gives the plant a little bit of movement space rather than holding the plant firmly against the stake. It seems to be working really good at this point!
