Tom, thanks a lot! I did not have that 1960's paper 
It sheds some more light on the early work in FL (starting in the 1920's!!!), and helps complete the puzzle !
Important detail when reading old literature on eucs is remembering taxonomy has changed since then. For example, the "Bogor strain"E. alba mentioned in that paper links up to a "mystery euc story", involving E. urophylla.
I will read in depth. Looks very interesting! Thanks again.
