I knew it wasn't the most reliable for cold climates, but I got one any ways because I really liked the look and I know a handful of people that have had really good luck with them in the valley where I'm at. Unfortunately our weather has been much more severe than normal the last couple winters so this may not be a tree that will work where I'm at anymore. I'm currently looking at adding another Euc and have found a nursery that has gunnii and nicholli starts for a pretty reasonable price. Would either one of these work well in the willamette valley (corvallis area)?
So, wait until late spring and don't worry about the mold? Also, if multiple shoots restart should I choose one and go with it, or let them all get established before pruning?
I notice your from Bandon. I grew up there. Small world.
