So, there we have the more orbicular intermediate leaves in the younger tree at the left side of Phil's photo. Which are quite similar to the ones at Walt's tree.
Note also flower buds already present in the young tree even if adult leaves are not present yet (they were present in the pic from Hawaii showing flowers in a previous post).
So well, I think the current ID of Walt's mystery Eucalyptus tree after this is more or less like:
- E. robusta - 85% chances
- E. microcorys - 5% chances
- E. botryoides - 5% chances
- Other - 5% chances
Seed pods (definitive evidence) --> 100%
