Gus: I wouldn't have to have my arm twisted to introduce C.ptychocarpa into my garden. My one criterion for most trees is that they are evergreen (or at least semi-evergreen like Delonix regia and Jacaranda, unless it's a fast leaf change in spring). If an evergreen tree blooms with conspicuos flowers, that's just icing on the cake.
If Florida has some two dozen species of eucs, I will be curious as to how many species I can find here. As I find them I will post them here for confirmation.
