apparently, the most commonly available seed source is from camuldulesnsis ssp. camuldulensis---however, according to australian sources at least the most cold hardy strain are from ssp. obtusa which is not commonly offered in commerce here. www.australiaplants.com claims to sell both types. in any case, this species does not have a particularly good track record in the pnw. it needs long hot summers to grow well and will probably die back to the ground at around 20-25f. (should come back from that and somewhat lower temps if the plant is in the ground and well mulched). imho, many other eucs have equally attractive bark and should be more tolerant of our conditions---scoparia, rubida, dalrympleana, pauciflora ssp. pauciflora, ovata, gregsoniana, viminalis, elliptica, mannifera, etc.
