All the above mentioned losses were due to cold not heat. That is why I was surprised by the Eucalyptus nitens 'Select' and Eucalyptus glaucescens early loss from the first wave of cold weather! They went out when the temps had barely reached the mid-20's. Like I said these were seed from Milligan Seed, what I consider the BEST source of cold hardy seed outside of X-Cincy Frank. By the way where is he???
