obviously it is very possible as that is how mother nature does it. remember euc. seed is extremely small and it is hard to plant just one or two at a time. the seed needs to be sown on bare soil---no competeing plants or weeds or loose sticks or any foreign material. the seed is sown directly on top of the soil (you can put a very very light covering of peat moss, fine sand, or compost to keep the seed from blowing away), and then the area is kept moist and warm until germination in about 3 weeks or so. soil and air temps should be at least 60f. during day and probably no cooler than 45f at night preferably warmer. protect against slugs and snails. while this mimics natural conditions, imho it would be quicker and more reliable to germiante them indoors on a windowsill in a flat or container as they are as easy to start as marigolds. good luck.
