I know Canberra is elevated and cooler than most major Australian cities. How much so? Can they grow citrus, as I presume most other low-elevation AU cities can? (barring perhaps sea-level cities on Tasmania, but there the issue would be lack of heat for ripening, if there were any issue.)
I wonder if any gardeners getting a government post there of some kind (elected into office perhaps) have bemoaned having to move to place that actually has regular frosts!
