Dear Gus and Benoit,
Thank you both for your reaction. I showed the photo's also to Hans Prins in The Netherlands who suggested it might also be Eucalyptus chapmaniana, which is much more cold tolerant. Is this a possiblity? According to my information these trees have been imported from Spain in 2007, together with al lot of Trachycarpus fortunei
