Thanks, it looks like my tree is actually dying from some sort of pest. There is no green when I scratch the surface and I found the holes near the bottom of the tree. From what I read it looks like the only option is to cut the tree down. My hope is it will come back. Rhonda, I hope your problem isn't the same!
