I have an Omeo Gum ( e.Neglecta ) which is I think 4 years old and about 15 feet tall. It has lovely, big round elephant ear leaves and is one of my favourites. So now I notice it has a lot of seed pod clusters, still green and hard. I'd like to try growing a few more trees from these seeds. What should I expect the seed pods to do ? Do they turn brown and pop open or how will I know when they are ripe ? Will they take a while to mature ? Are the seeds likely to be tiny as some others I have seen ? Is this a variety that can be easily grown from seed ?
