Wow, Gus, that fertilization really made a bigger bushier euc!
I have a Euc camphora that Frank The Eucalyptus Man very kindly brought over and sold to me. Have a swampy yard so planted it in a little creeklet. It has thrived and grown FAST. Have never fertilized it but will be next weekend or soon thereafter.
This Euc camphora has grown all winter, even when the nights were below freezing.
My other Eucs planted at least a year ago from Frank (very cold-hardy thank you!) have done the same.
The baby Eucs, about 1-2' high in their first season after planting, have not grown but only the new baby Scoparia has a bit of freeze dieback in tips and top. The 1st Scoparia did the same thing its 1st winter but now it is gigantic and thriving, growing fast with luxuriant visible new leaves every single day.
