I foresee at least four difficulties Travis. But the main thought is "Why not?". All in all, each time I see one like this...
... the thought of an espalier is almost intuitive!
I'll prepare some blabla and images about this topic. Ornamental Eucalyptus pruning is a bit different to pruning other plants.
Anyone trying this technique with Eucalyptus (I am sure someone is/has been/was doing it somewhere sometime in the last 200 years), please consider sharing images and/or comments and we could make some sort of online guideline for other growers.
