I know many eucalyptus fans live in Oregon and Washington regions which are west of the Cascade mountains. My question involves the plant known as California laurel or Oregon myrtle, Umbelluaria californica. I am currently attempting to get some seed of this species up and growing. From what I have read, this species could provide a nice evergreen shrub or small tree in shaded woodland areas. Do any of you have this plant in your gardens and how easy is it to grow?
