My Eucalyptus nichollii, which I started from seed, did very well for about 3 years. Then, about a year ago, the leaves started dying. Lately there is lots of new growth, but it dies in a month or two and most of the leaves on the tree are dead.
I live in a dry area of Hawaii, but I water the tree frequently. I don't see any infestation of bugs. The leaves don't turn yellow first, they just turn brown and die. I can't figure out what is wrong and what I can do to save the tree. I'd appreciate suggestions. Thanks.
