for what its worth, i have a leucoxylon seedling that survived the winter here in bandon and there have been plants of this species grown to flowering size south of gold beach so its worth a shot. caesia is a lovely plant but it is western australian so will most likely demand perfect drainage and a very warm sheltered spot to survive let alone thrive. e. diversicolor which comes from the mediterranean side of w.a. grew to about 6' in the course of a year here but was killed dead here near bandon a couple of years back during a milder winter than what we went thru this year! luckily seed is cheap and dreams are priceless so best of luck!!!
