Just another short update

Hi friends,

It's been a couple weeks since I posted here but am glad to be back to send a short update to you all.

It's been 4 weeks since mom's surgery and she's doing good. Now she's just trying to make a decision on what she wants to do with herself as far as treatments because she doesn't want to do the chemotherapy. The doctors (with the exception of one) are trying to push mom in to doing both chemotherapy and radiation and we know without a doubt that she doesn't want to do the chemotherapy so she's considering a third option: hormone pills that you take once a day for 5 years, has some side effects but nothing like the chemotherapy regimen.

So this doctor that told us about the hormone pills said to call back after the Thanksgiving holiday with a decision. So we shall see what happens.

The other big thing right now is that my uncle had surgery yesterday for a wound care issue and he's doing good.

As for my fibro flare from mom's surgery it took me about 2 weeks to get over that one but now I'm going to end up with another flare because of this surgery yesterday. Hopefully I won't have this one last as long but I will use the heating pad tonight around my most troublesome tender points.

But other than that I'm doing my best to hang in there although that hasn't been easy. I'll keep everyone posted on how this all turns out.
