Now Playing: Beautiful Times

Posted by Jacqui P I hope everyone is keeping well? I am sorry I have not been about for a while. Things have been pretty manic and unfortunately not for good reasons! My boyfriends mum became very ill about 4 weeks ago, the doctor did not give her long to live but she managed to pull through and came home. Unfortunately she was only home for 5 days before she was taken very ill again. She was in hospital for 4 days and 2 weeks ago, she gave up and passed away. She has been fighting cancer for the last 2 years but she had not told any of the family that the cancer was spreading and it seems she had been terminally ill for a while. It has been a tough couple of weeks. Watching my boyfriend and his family loose Sheila is the most painful thing I think I have ever have had to go through. It is heartbreaking watching someone you love so much having to go through something so horrible and not being able to do anything about it. So the last couple of weeks I have spent most of my time with James, being there for him is the only thing I can do. The funeral was last friday, it was a hard day but lots of family and friends gathered together. I am trying to stay strong for James although he is coping amazingly well and is being very brave. I am feeling very upset about Sheila passing away and the reality of it all is starting to hit me. I just wanted to explain why I have not been around and let you know that you are all in my thoughts still. I have an essay to hand in tomorrow and then the uni side of things should calm down slightly! Take Care all, Lots of Love, Jacqui xxx

Hi All,
Unfortunately she got a infection which developed into septicemia and on the sunday she developed fluid on her lungs and the doctors told us that she only had 24-48 hours left. She died on the Tuesday morning with James and I at her side.
