Posted by Jacqui I hope you are all ok as can be. (((Hugs))) for those who need them. I am feeling really rotten. I had my exams last week on thursday and was very stressed. I spoke to me gp on last tuesday as I suspected I had a uti and was getting bad pain and I was given antibiotics which I started. I did my exams thursday, one was awful and one was alot better and went out thursday night to celebrate them being over. I went back to my boyfriends house on thursday night which was unplanned as we missed last train to mine so missed doses of my antibiotics as I had nothing with me as so was naughty and didnt restart taking the antibs when I got back to mine on friday. I only got 2 hours sleep after my night shift yesterday morning as my family and boyfriend came over to my parents for a bbq yesterday to celebrate my dads birthday and I didnt sleept until 1am this morning as my boyfriend was over. I only have 3 shifts this week and then I finish this placement on friday and then have 2 weeks holiday off uni which I am so looking forward too!!! I really need the break! Anyway, I am going to try and sleep, I am awake early as got up to see James off to work as he stayed over last night but cant sleep due to the pain now. Hi All,
I was in bad pain on saturday and worked a night shift at placement on saturday night, my frist shift back after study leave.
My night shift was fine, it was very quiet so I coped with pain ok.
I had quite alot of tum pain yesterday but coped with it but this morning I am in agony. I have taken 2 paramol and 2 ibruprofen and the pain is still awful. I have restarted the antibiotics so am hoping they will kick in and luckily I have today off so I plan to catch up on my sleep as I am sooooo exhusted. I feel awful and the pain is so nasty and keeps taking my breath away! I am sure this is just a blip, I do think I have a urine infection so hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon!
