Posted by Kathy Everything went well. The prep was awful; it would be a sure way to get prisoners to talk! LOL! The actual procedure was easy. I was asleep and felt nothing, thank God! I can't imagine being awake while that area of the body is probed with a hose! The dr. didn't find anything definite that is causing my problems (I've had diarrea for months, sometimes constipation)but he did biopsies and blood work to try and find out what's happening. He said something about absorbtion rates; don't know what that means, exactly. My GP originally thought it could be IBS but the treatment she prescribed didn't help and the gastro dr. didn't seem to think it's IBS either. I've been having more endo related pain but he didn't think my bowel problems are related to that. I see my gyn next month; maybe he'll know. I have a feeling most of us will never have definitive answers! Sorry if that bummed anyone out! Thanks for your prayers and support! Love,
