Now Playing: Beautiful Times

Posted by Becky I just wanted to wish you all a very special Valentine's Day. I hope you all are showered with love. Well, I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I am still alive. LOL Life has been a bit rough so far in 2007. My hubby Mark has been traveling. He went to Georgia in January. Right now he is in Toronto. He will come home for a week and then he is off to New York. With all the travel he is doing it has us all in a jumble. Have been doing some better healthwise, but then tonight the pain has started up again. I don't really have any way that I can go up and see Dr. Cook right now. With Mark traveling so much, I don't have any time to get all the paperwork together. I am so busy trying to manage the house and the boys on my own. Then inbetween times when Mark is here we are just trying to make things as nice a possible before he leaves again. It is very hard on all of us, but seems to be taking a big toll on Brandon right now. Anyway, my pain tonight is pretty horrible, but I am hanging in there. It always seems to flare up when Mark is away. Wondering if stress is what makes it worse. I am trying to remember to take the Arimidex, but lately I have been so busy with the boys and all that has been going on I forget to take care of me. Brandon has been ill. In January he started picking at a wart he had on his arm and he made a sore on his arm. I think he started picking around the time that Mark went on his trip. Well, it would heal up and then he would pick at it again and the sore kept growing. I felt completely helpless to get him to stop. Finally he picked himself into an infection and I had to take him to the doctor. Plus on top of all that he broke out in hives the week before Mark left and scratched those up. After taking him to the doctor, I sent him to school the next day. He showed some friends his bandaged arm and declared he was contagious. Well, his teacher overheard and she got right on it. They called me and accused me of sending him to school knowing he was contagious. That made me angry. The doctor told me there was no problem sending him to school as long as his arm was bandaged. I went to the doctor and got a note and the school still did not believe me. So Brandon got kicked out of school for the rest of the week. I should know if he is contagious, both Mark and I have been taking care of him and touching him and we have not gotten anything at all. Then in amongst all that going on our refrigerator broke down. Mark was so frustrated with that. We were waiting on his passport to come so he could go to Toronto, Canada. And we had all the ordeal with the school going on and Brandon's arm. It just felt like too much. Mark did not want to deal with that refrigerator breaking down. I told him that I could tell the compressor died on it because only the fan was running. We got the frige when we first moved in and that was 15 years ago now. Time flies! So we ran out that night and bought a new refrigerator. That was on a Thursday night. Then the next day Mark's passport came. Sunday he left, we drove up to the airport in the rain and I drove back home in the rain. Then my new refrigerator was delivered. Whew! I worked all day at getting things all put back together. Sure does mess up your life when you don't have a frige! LOL Well, I have written a book to you all! I better let you all go. Everyone take good care! Wishing you all much happiness on Valentine's Day.
