Posted by Barbara Well, things have gone from bad to worse. My mom was emergently admitted to the hospital Wednesday for abdominal pain and nausea, she was doubled over in pain. They did a workup on her and she had abdominal surgery for 2 problems. She just had surgery a month ago for an unrelated problem. She is still in the hospital, very weak and slow to recover. I have been pretty much staying at the hospital to help her and stay on top of things. My FMS is really acting up with all of this going on. It is really difficult seeing her so debilitated and sick. My dad is having a hard time watching all of this too. I appreciate everyone's support. Thanks.

Thank you all for your replies and prayers regarding my previous post about my friend that was killed in the plane crash. I am still having a hard time dealing with this but I had to put this toward the back of my mind earlier this week when my mom got sick.
