Posted by Olivia Just checking in quick. Surgery is only a few days away and I am getting nervous!! God blessed me with some horrible pms/cramping/etc. this month though...so that is a good reminder to me of why I need the surgery.....the cramping has been really bad, especially in the afternoon when I get up (after working nights)...it almost makes me wish the surgery was sooner...lol...so I guess I have to look at things both ways. Tonight we are going to my medical center x-mas party. In the seven years I've worked at the hospital..I've never gone to one yet...so I figured it was time to check it out. A few of my work friends went last year and said it was a hoot....a few of the surgeons got pretty intoxicated and were busting a move on the dance floor...that I have to see!!!! LOL..otherwise..I guess they always have really good food..so I'm excited about that. They also have a very good local band...so I'm excited for that as well. I figure it's something to take my mind off the surgery. Work is still busy..we have pneumonia, norwalk virus, and a person with scabies(eeeek). Everyone has been so sweet to me though..they don't want me to get sick for surgery so I've been taking care of the "clean" patients...surgicals,etc. Surgicals are my favorites to take care of....so it works out. Ok..well..I better get to bed..I'll try to post once more before the "big day"..hope everyone is well... Luv ya,
