Posted by MN~Sue So sorry it has taken me so long to post to you ~ I just don't get online like I used to. It is wonderful having you back at the forum! I am so sorry to hear about Carl. I will keep him in my prayers. SO much illness and suffering for so many to bear. Please update after Carl's surgery. I am also sorry to hear that Cody will have to stay home from school. It's good to hear he has friends that stick by him. That's not always easily done when young, appreciating a friend's health situation; I am so glad that Cody has some close friends that understand and are there for him. I hope you do well through the holidays and cold days. I know how the cold affects your FMS and having to go out early to work and face the cold. Glad to hear your stomach is getting better. My doc has never put me on cholesterol meds, even though my levels are higher than they should be. I don't know if that is a smart move or not, but I surely wouldn't want to aggravate the FMS, should the meds do that to me too. My FMS has been acting up a bit more lately and my lower back, hip, and leg have been troublesome again. I had about a year or so with the back pain in remission and then it started again about 2 months ago and doesn't want to go away again. SO, I try to watch the amount of time I do things that can aggravate it more, like sitting at the computer, sleeping more than 5-6 hours at a time, waiting til the afternoon to do things that would require bending and lifting, etc...however that isn't usually possible to avoid and then the bending sets it off worse before I can get it loosened up. I have been planning to post about an FMS program I attended and a device that is supposed to help with pain........I will try to get to it soon......it might interest you. I have not tried it yet, but need to get a referral from my doc first and just haven't moved on that yet. Well, I best move along and try to get a few more posts answered.... Love,
