Hi Becky. I am glad your doctor examined you and is sending you to a colorectal specialist. I hope you start to feel better soon and that the problem is easy to fix. I have dealt with my share of 'it is your IBS acting up' with my docs. I wish our doctors would listen to us more often! Mine too ended up not being my IBS at all.
I hope things get better for you soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.
