I just wanted to update you all and let you know that it looks like the 6 inches of large intestine that he left inside is not working properly, and could be failing.It is collecting all of my stool and I am really bloated and pretty much unable to pass anything. As a result, he is going to go in again( just had a sugery 3 weeks ago, this makes # 4 this year) and remove the rest of the large intestine and hook up the small intestine to the rectum. THis procedure will be on December 7th and I will spend 7or more days in the hospital recovering, the way my luck goes it takes intestines longer to function so I will be in the hospital for more like 14-18 days. I sure hope I am able to get out before Christmas that would really stink. THen once I recover fronm this they are considering trying an interstim to see if they can get my bladder to contract normally so I will not have to cath all of the time. So please keep me in your prayers and thoughts.I will update you as I can..
