Now Playing: Beautiful Times

Posted by Kathy Hormones definately can trigger migraines. In fact, menstrual and other hormonal related migraines are the worst because they are so difficult to treat. Many women report an increase in migraines after menopause while others report an improvement. Mine have been worse since I've gotten older (I'm 40). Please don't ever hesitate to seek help when you are feeling down. I pray that you improve soon. Please keep us posted. Take care,

I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time. I suffer from chronic migraines and I totally understand what you are going through. Are you on any migraine prevention meds? It's entirely possible that migraines can cause strokes, contrary to what doctors say ( my neurologist says the risk is very low but I am still cautious). I have stroke like symptoms with my migraines but MRIs have ruled out strokes.
