Hi all,
Sue, it's good to see you back. When we didn't hear from you for a while I figured that it was b/c either you weren't feeling well or had a lot going on this Summer.
Kathy, once again it's good to have you back. I had surgery 10 weeks ago to check the status of my endometriosis b/c I was having a ton of problems as far as symptoms and such.
Olivia, how are things going for you?
Tennile, I know you have been busy but wanted you to know that I've been thinking about you and hoping that your week hasn't been too painful.
Melanie, I've missed you as well and hoping that you all have gotten a little bit of rain and that you too aren't hurting too much.
Gloria, how are you, Cody, and the rest of your family? I hope ok. And if not pls know that you'll be feeling somewhat better.
Michelle, I've missed you on here but will try to write you a bit later to find out how things are going b/c you have been in my thoughts.
With all of that said I now have an update b/c it's been almost a month. I've been slowly getting better from the surgery but it's just trying to deal with the post-op fatigue fighting with the fibro fatigue. I'll be glad when I see my rheumatologist next month b/c I'm also going to try again to push for an MRI on my knees b/c I know something else is going on with the arthritis, especially on the right side. If not I'll have to wait til I can talk my primary care physician whenever I get one (still on the search for that). I'm thinking that I may stay on the Zoladex for a while longer. But for sure, I do think that the Zoladex is kicking in as far as creating the peaks where you may have a bit more pain at first and then the brain finally shuts down. I get my 3rd shot next week and then after that we'll have a chat about whether to continue the next 3 shots. But one of the reasons I'm going to consider it is b/c of the fact that if that inflammation that was found on surgery was b/c of the endo then I want to make sure it's kept to a minimum. And hopefully, keep another surgery for my endo at bay for a good while longer. I guess time will tell.
Other than that I'm hanging in there but on some days it's harder than others to do that. And I'm still on the search for a job so hopefully something will come real soon for me.
