Posted by Mike BTW, I was very glad to have found this website. For the longest time I had never met anyone else who had even heard of Whittemore or any of his novels. mike --Previous Message--

Indeed. Especially considering the likelihood of finding a near mint copy of Jerusalem Poker's first edition. I have a very good copy myself, but I'm almost afraid to even open it. The last copy I had, even though I read it very carefully, fell apart as I read it, the pages becoming detached from the spine in chunks. I'm decided to play it safe and keep a paperback copy around. Thankfully, the other books in the Quartet don't have this problem.
: I belong the happy ones to have all five books
: in hardcover edition. Took me a while,
: though.
: A good start to the search might be on:
: A word of caution: I would be careful with
: the quality statements of some sellers.
: Good luck!
