Sorry to hear AMY...but this is quite common with EDS. My whole family has rib issues, and we've been fortunate to find both a massage therapist and chiropractor who not only could get them in place, but show us how to do it ASAP ourselves. Most MDs don't understand this...except we've found a few osteopaths who do, since it is a soft tissue problem and that is within their training.
Yours have probably been put back too forcefully, and it's also caused connective tissue inflamation in the chest walls, the usual source of the pain.
