I have hypermobility type well by my own diagnoses cause' the doctors are just telling my I have EDS but none of them have ever reserched this desiase and I know more about it then they do when I go to the doctor (because I get severe pain spells cause' my vertabre is also hypermobile and will pinch a nerve and give me excrusiating pain) they will try to get me to do physical therapy wich in turn hurts even more and when I tell them that I have alot of pain they give me that look like I'm some type of crack-head from the streets who just wants pain killers and believe me I don't want them for the getting high feeling cause they keep me nauseas all day but I'm able to sleep with them and my muscle spasms will actually go away but when they give me some (and I meen some) they will give me anywhere from a whoping 5-10 pills now in my life I have had knee surjury at age sixteen neck surjury at age 26 and CRONIC back pain since I was 13 years old and I'm only 28 now as I write this I am curently out on leave from my work because of a pinched nerve I've seen three doctors and I've been out for thee weeks and all three doctors will not give me pain medicine because they think I'm an adict probably because I'm so young for back problems and when I mention Ehlors-Danlos they say well that just makes your skin stretch it shouldn't bother your back I even went so far as to print out the info from the internet myself and give it to the doctor he picked it up didn't even look at it and threw it away as he walked down the hallway so as you can see I need a good doctor hopefully in my area of northwest Indiana so if any one has been bored enough to read this much and know a good doctor for this please write me
