Tom Cavanagh has this way of charming the hearts of women with his adorable behavior of Ed Stevens but who is Tom Cavanagh really. In my opinion, Tom Cavanagh is an interesting man. Here is why. You see him on different talk shows and he acts so different from talk show to talk show. Not too different, mind you. Here is an example on the Craig Kilborn show, last winter he was cussing time to time (this is not known to be like him) keep in mind this is not shortly after he and Julie Bowen broke up and Julie announced her engagement, and he was in “dire straits” with finding a girlfriend. So perhaps, he was hoping that he his sharp, cussing tongue would impress the heart of a woman who looks like Julie (when Tom dated her) in the beginning of season 4 of Ed.
Now, when he was recently on Regis and Kelly, he said “Oh my god” which isn’t like him either. Was this just merely to impress who like she has too much make up and in need of a hair trim badly….Kelly Ripa. I sure hope not, after all Tom did recently marry, July31, 2004 to be exact. Speaking of this marriage, boy that was a mystery. Here is a guy in late Feb. 2004 saying how single he was then come just only 5 yes 5 months later he gets married. Did he do this to get over his hurt from Julie getting married or was he head over heels for his new wife? I can see that he and his wife (Maureen Grise, now Cavanaugh) do have a lot in common with Maureen being into the sports fan (sports illustrated photographer) and she also has that look that appeals to Tom, you know the long, very blonde hair, plucked ever so thin eyebrows and very thin like a Sports Illustrated model. I hope that Tom didn’t try to change Maureen’s appearance to Julie because he was so heartbroken over Julie but I would not think so. Now, about the mystery of Tom’s new look….. When he Ed began he looked so cute and conservative but when the show made it big he made it from sweet/humble and cute to “look at me now I am a hot star” that is when his look changed. Now he wears these dark rimmed glasses that cover his sweet blue eyes. Was he drunk? Stoned? What was he really hiding? Then the matted hair. Those made his face look ever so old. Bottom line who is Tom Cavanagh?
A shy guy? Or a party boy? Who knows, maybe he doesn’t even know? Bring back the old Tom, you know the Edward J. Stevens from Season 1 of ED. Was it Maureen who stole the sweet/humble or perhaps Julie took that Tom away a long time ago.
