He is scary smart (that's wonderful) He has learned to roll over on his back to make it more difficult to pick up when he doesn't want to go outside. I put a harness on him which helps. He should do well with search (his nose in on the ground about 85-90% of the time when we are out and about.
We love him a LOT. He is following my hand (from the very night he arrived), coming on whistle anywhere at any distance and we are starting on heeling w/ treat. Doing Great! He is not afraid or concerned with cars, truck, people on bicycles etc.
We have been to hike in the 'gully' twice, the IFA, PetCo, the Scheel's outdoor mall and parking lot and several other places. Doing great on that front. He'll soon become aloof to everywhere we go.
He is virtually house trained. Barks to go out. Goes through the night perfect and, settles down quickly after coming in even with a lot of people and holiday commotion etc.
Thank you oh so VERY much for this guy. Like I said, we all LOVE him lots (he's a real luv bug in return)!
