My co-worker suggested that you may be able to help me with my dog Bison. My son rescued this dog from an abusive home. Bison is half bull mastiff and half husky. Bison is approximately 11 months old and has torn up every leather or vinyl piece of furniture I owned. He only acts out when I am not home. He is the companion for my german shepherd who is a 5 year old female, who is very well behaved. I was keeping Bison in a cage and coming home on my lunch break to let him out but he learned how to get out of the cage. So I leave him out and he still finds things to destroy like my living room curtains. Currently I am on my 4th set of curtain rods. I took Bison to my sons house on thanksgiving and Bison gets car sick. Plus it took 3 off us to get him into the car and my grandson had to help control him inside the car while I drove. I moved into a new house with a fenced in back yard but he has to remain on a chain in the back yard when he goes out because he likes to jump fences and gets stuck in other yards like he did on thanksgiving and my grandson had to climb the fence and lift Bison back over the fence. Bison is a very loving playful dog when I am home but I know he needs training. But I need help just getting him in the car. I had open heart last year and still can not lift heavy weights. I have to schedule Bison to go to the vet when my son can come from out of town to help me get him to the vet. Please help me.
