As far as our feelings about vaccines, I do vaccinate, of course, but like to spread out the vaccines, rather than all at the same visit. I also tend to vaccinate for bordatella every six months if a show/traveling dog, otherwise only once a year. I stay away from "new" vaccines like coccidiosis until it has been around for a Looong time. Rabies is necessary almost everywhere, but as your dog ages, look into titering for rabies. We dog breeders have in the last five years added Lepto 5, which is relatively new, but widespread. If you get a pup from us, it's first vaccine contains Lepto 5 and corona, as well as parvo, distemper and hepatitis.
