Also I try to build his overall confidence by doing things like if we are playing with his ball and it rolls to a "scary" place or next to something he is unsure of I don't get the ball for him. if he wants to continue playing, he has to get it himself.
I have a friend, one of my mentor trainers, that has some agility equipment so we have worked on getting him comfortable with those things. (He was terrified of the A frame but now he runs up and down it for fun). The one thing he will not do is the tunnel.
