Hi there! Your dog is at a natural point of cutting back his intake. At 11 months, although he will continue to grow and mature to three, he's most assuredly not growing as fast as he did in the prior months. Which meal is he skipping the most often? I find that the morning meal is typically the one they start to refuse. Also, the extremely hot weather now plays a role. My dogs here won't eat until late.. 9 or so in the evening. So, you can do a couple of things. Stop offering food at all in the A.M. Offer the kibble and raw in the evening. Don't be surprised that he favors the raw. So, in the heat, give him just the raw, then fast a whole day, and give him kibble at night for one night. Switching back and forth is what works for me. Don't worry about him becoming malnourished during this time. This is a very normal part of his growth. Good luck!
