and my brain is getting back to normal, or as normal as MY brain can get... :-) I wasn't sure that ANY of my hard learned French would come back after 17 YEARS, but it sure did, and with a vengance! I wasn't able to think in English for a couple of days after the trial!
I was pleased as punch with the trial, and not just because of the titles earned, but of the class and good sportsmanship that our club displayed. I was absolutely in tears when "Kaiser" and Betsy got their Brevet, and very close to it when Glenna got her Ring I... I was so happy for the both of them, for their hard work, and the chance they took to prove that they could really do RING, under a French judge, with a top level decoy. And, the class, thoughtfulness, and just all around good sports that Rachel, Brad and Kristen showed... you can learn more sometimes about a person when they DON'T get what they want.. and even though I'm sure there was some disappointment, I never got the idea that the dog was to blame, or that they thought they weren't getting a fair shake. It is truly an honor to have folks like you to work with! Now, on to the DSO!!!!!
