Re: balance in your "pack"
I've noticed as of late, that when my dog comes home from a day of bitework, the 2 little dogs have 2 reactions to her. They either give her a wide birth, or are literally crawling all over her and licking at her mouth and such. It only happens after doing bitework, and only recently started to happen. I've also noticed that she treats the 2 little ones very differently from one another. Ginger, the bigger "dumber" of the 2 Bostons, mima always treats like a puppy, showing her things and very very patient with her. Gigi, the smaller more caniving of the 2, Mima treats like a sibling, in that she will play with her and even get a little physical, but will also routinely show her who boss is, and I've even seen her switch from the 2 little ones simultaneously flipping between the treatment. Very interesting stuff happening under this roof these days.
