Update on Blade: Still working on his recall. Making progress. As far as protection work per your advice, we took away his favorite sleeve and he is now biting a different one which is great. It's still a softer type sleeve but before he wouldn't bite it. I'm wondering if we should be switching him up on all the other sleeves as well so the current sleeve doesn't become the new favorite. The other sleeve we have is significantly harder so do we try that one or do we keep working the current sleeve for a while and then build up to the harder one?
On another note Blade has recently decided that he likes to try to hump the sleeve during bite work. On the one hand, I want him to want the sleeve but I don't know about this. Should I correct him when he tries to do this? What should we do if he's trying it while he's on the bite with the decoy? I'd really like to bring him down with the rest of our club sometime soon so you can see where he's at, what we're doing and provide us with some of your expert advice. Thanks for all your help!
