"Udo".. a young male Belgian Malinois has passed. I only knew him for a little while. He was a dog that we rescued from the Chicago area while on a search for a new Belgian Malinois stud. Not fitting our needs, I found him a great home with some great people in Detroit. This little guy was amazingly sturdy, despite his rough start... No matter who you were, he looked deep into your eyes, and loved what he saw.. He would turn himself inside out to get closer to you, and you, and yes, even you. It didn't matter if you liked him, if you were "good with dogs".. no fancy handling skills needed. He wanted to be with you, and found you an amazing god like creature. Social with other dogs, athletic, he should have lived a long and happy life with his new found gods.. but instead, a congenitial defect made it not so. If I ever need a description of a great family dog, whose sole purpose is to adore his people, I'll insert a photo of UDO. Rest in peace, little guy..... ![]()
